Picture for category

Little Dutch and Mercis Publishing are launching two beautifully illustrated children's books. Little Dutch is known for its colourful illustrations and designs that stimulate the imagination of young children. That is why the Little Dutch range would not be complete without children's books. Today we proudly launch; My first animal book and Will you come and play?. The books are available online and in shops and bookshops.

Illustrations come to life
Little Dutch has been designing beautiful products for babies, toddlers and preschoolers for over 12 years. The warm colours and attractive designs appeal to children and stimulate their imagination. That is why launching our own collection of children's books feels like a logical extension of the already extensive range of Little Dutch products.

My first animal book
In the large cardboard book My First Animal Book, children get to know lots of animals from different habitats. From the forest to the jungle and from the air to the sea. There is so much to discover. A perfect gift book to enjoy for years. Fun for young and old.

Will you come and play?
Doing crafts, riding a scooter, dressing up or building with bricks. {The cardboard book Will you come and play? shows you all kinds of ways of playing together. The unusual shape of the book makes it fun to play with. Thanks to the thick, cardboard pages, your little ones can easily help you flip the pages.
*ISBN: 978-90-5647-911-4

Books for the early years
These books are suitable for the very youngest but remain fun and educational through the toddler years.
The beautiful illustrations in 'My first animal book' enable parents and grandparents to talk vividly about the animals in the ocean or the jungle. Children can learn the names of different animals by pointing at them and they can practise the animal sounds together. Older children can let their imagination run free by making up their own stories about the animals in the book. The book 'Will you come and play?' is guaranteed to stimulate your child's imagination. Books that match a child's interests, experiences and knowledge are always well received.

Long-term cooperation
In cooperation with Mercis Publishing, the publisher of Dick Bruna's work, Little Dutch will be adding several new titles to its range this year.
